Welcome, Grandma & Grandpa!

Kyle's Mom & Dad have recently made a move from Kansas City to the Metroplex. We are so excited to have them closer! Visits for the past 4 years have been few and far between with them living about 9 hours away.
It has been so amazing to see the Lord's hand in Terry and Beth's lives during the past several months. Terry lost his job in October of last year. He didn't even have one interview until March. Then, all of a sudden, the ball got rolling with three different companies - one of which was located in Plano. After a month-long series of phone calls and interviews, he was offered the job in Plano. So, Terry moved down here within the next couple of weeks. The day he started his new job was 6 months to the day that he had lost his previous job. Here's the really amazing part - he had been given a 6 month severance and health insurance! So his new benefits picked up right where the old left off.
Beth stayed in Kansas City for about 3 extra weeks, getting their house ready to sell. It was put on the market Wed, May 14th. They received an offer on May 28th. There is a house next door to us that was on the market for about 3 months before it sold!
Even if all of these events hadn't taken place, we would still know that the Lord is present and in control. But it is so comforting to see His work in our lives.
It is also reaffirming for Kyle and I, as Kyle continues his job hunt. The market is slow and jobs are few, but God is taking care of our needs. (Matt 6:25-34)

Thank you for sharing Terry and Beth's inspiring story. It gives me a little hope since Tim and I are again unemployed as well.
